If for any particular reason you need to find out the MAC address of the computers in your local network, Find MAC Address is a tool which is capable of doing this.
You have to indicate a range of IP addresses that the program will scan, one at a time, to find out if the destination computer is active or not. The information that the program provides is the MAC address, and the name of the network card producer.
Find MAC Address also allows you to choose the method with which the network will be scanned ARP, Netbios, NET API or WMI.
